Anyone who discovers a squirrel in the trees wants to share immediately his enthusiasm. 

As everybody loves watching squirrels in their wild pursuits.
Sometimes at the end of a long and snowy winter, the squirrels run out of collected food stock an no longer reach their reserves buried under the snow.

At my sister in Beatenberg, witty animals found a parade by snitching the birdseeds of the bird house with a lot of acrobatic skill.

My sister made me laugh by sending me plenty of “What’s Up” messages with funny and cute pictures of squirrels in action, which inspired me to create the artwork “Sciurus Vulgaris – Eurasian Red Squirrel”
